The base is linearly adhered to the roll material over a large area, with no hard sharp corners or local compression in the middle; There are TPO/PVC gaskets at both ends as padding. The substrate is chemically compatible with TPU/PVC and will not wear out the roofing membrane during normal use.

1)Mechanically Penetrated System

Through fasteners pierce membrane, insulation and roof deck. Risk of leakage and potential void roof warranty. Continuous metal studs create unavoidable thermal bridging, which can only be reduced by thermal break sleeves instead of fully eliminated. Complicated flashing work required for each penetration.

2)Ballasted Mounting System

Rely on concrete ballast for wind resistance with no penetration. Disadvantage: significant extra dead load on roof, not suitable for buildings with limited load-bearing capacity. Long term friction may damage roof membrane.

3)Ballast-Free Zero-Penetrating System

Bases thermally welded to membrane, no penetration, no ballast. Ultra light additional load with linear load distribution. Fundamentally eliminate through-metal thermal bridging. Roof membrane integrity preserved to maintain original roof warranty.

The warranty period for Railbase is 15 years, and the free warranty period is 5 years. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, natural disasters, or roof displacement.

Please take photos immediately once goods arrive. Shortage or damage caused by factory packaging & production will be re-supplied free of charge. Damage during sea transit can be claimed via cargo insurance with freight forwarder.

Tailored specifically for lightweight flexible panels, this design accommodates the installation of flexible panels with lengths ranging from 1000mm to 2500mm. By extending the base and increasing its quantity, we provide robust bottom support for flexible panels, eliminating the risk of cell microcracks caused by panel sagging.
It adopts the same hot-melt welding process as the original roof construction, without drilling holes or ballasting.

SGS Test Results — Key Findings
•Pull-out Resistance: 4000 N — the welded base-to-membrane bond exceeds the failure load of the membrane material itself. In all test cases, the membrane tore before the weld failed.
•Shear Load Capacity: Exceeds 2500 N per base unit at ambient temperature (23°C).
•Elevated Temperature Performance: No significant reduction in bond strength at 80°C (typical roof surface temperature on a summer day).
•Cyclic Loading: 10,000-cycle fatigue test — zero degradation in weld integrity.

The whole system adopts thermally welded bases without any fasteners penetrating TPO/PVC membrane. No penetration leakage risk, roof waterproofing layer remains intact, and the original roof warranty can be maintained. Conventional penetrated racks damage the membrane and may void roof warranty directly.

Wind resistance achieved without concrete ballast, bringing minimal extra dead load to the roof. Perfect for retrofits of aged commercial buildings with limited bearing capacity and avoids expensive structural reinforcement work.

Mechanically penetrated racks rely on through-metal studs and inevitably create thermal bridging, which can only be mitigated instead of fully eliminated. Our system has no metal components running through the roof assembly, removing through thermal bridging fundamentally and lowering condensation risks in cold weather.
